I could only post about this until now, but Im surprised no one on my wall posted about it first. This isnt EXACTLY like Gamer Gate, but it certainly brings the idea of threatening people on the internet to the forefront of the legal world. Where is the line crossed? Its such a tough case, and you wouldnt expect certain justices to comment the way they did, but its just a sign that theres no easy answer. Limiting free speech is not something the Supreme Court takes lightly, but there is a whole barrage of online harassers who, if they havent been following this case, better do so now. cnn/2014/12/01/politics/supreme-court-elonis-vs-u-s-free-speech/
