I could really use some intelligent advice here. I was hired as a laborer by a contractor in the area afyer working for 3 weeks and a total of 70 hours during that period I was only paid for 10 of those hours. I told him I couldnt Work for free anymore because it was costong me money instead of making it. I parted ways with him due to this and was told he would pay me what was owed to me. Unfortunately it was a cash job but he has my SS# and drivers license information because he said it was going to be a payroll job within my second week. Do I go to Magistrate? Should I contavt township to question his permits? Complain he is running a business from his home? Angies list? Better business bureau? I just want the money thats owed to me but if I dont recieve it by NOV 1st id like to take action to shut this scumbag down. Any help would be appreciated. Plus majority of the people working for him have no idea what they are doing , have extensive drug and felony backrounds and hes not certified or insured.
