I could see once again how free-will Arminianism eventually leads to the Satanic idea of Communism. Arminians say because God chose to save some He is therefore obligated to save all. How dare man dictate to God whom He must save and how many. He could chose to send everyone to hell and He would be absolutely just in doing so. The Bible says that He has mercy on some and hardens others (Romans 9:18). Jesus says in John 12 :39, 40, They could not believe because He [God] has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts. Ephesians 1:11 says that God chooses based on the purpose of Him who works all things according to the council of His will. The only reason God needs to choose some for salvation is His own pleasure and will. He does not choose based on the condition that some would believe in the future. Romans chp. 9 goes on to say that God chooses even before men do good or evil. I understand that there is some misunderstanding over the word foreknew. This word means loved in eternity past. The word know in the Bible is associated with the word love. For example, the Bible says, Adam knew his wife and she conceive and God says Israel I have known. This doesnt mean that God just knew about or had knowledge of Israel but that He loved loved Israel the same way He knows and loves His elect. If these doctrines are not believed there is a good chance you could be resting on a false gospel. Christ only came to save the elect of God who were chosen before the foundation of the world. This is orthodox Christianity. The Bible says in Ephesians 1:4 Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. Amen.
