I couldnt agree more. As we consider the implications of the tragedies occurring in black communities everywhere, it might make sense to realize that by supporting music that teaches our boys to call themselves thugs, killaz and gangstaz, you are facilitating a mindset that leads to violent self-destruction. In fact, many of us have been brainwashed to dance to the beat of your own genocide. This conversation with Dr Leah Gunning Francis lays all of this out. I hope youll watch it with a critical eye and not fall for the hype thats producing a death march among our people.
