Brian CALLEY from the GOP ticket in 2014 the two sides part ways. I think thats a waste of time and a waste of energy, suggests Scott HAGERSTROM, director of AFP Michigan. Describing it as a `disagreement on tactics, he added Tea Party time and energy is better spent on the 22 open seats in the Michigan House next year. What difference does it make if you take him (Calley) out?” asked Hagerstrom. The AFP chief suggests Gov. Rick SNYDER simply would not work with someone the Tea Party forced into the LG spot. Its misguided energy, and focusing on the primaries next year gives his organization an opportunity to elect more lawmakers in line with the conservative policies he advocates.
