I couldnt get to the rally myself . I watched it all on the live feed. Im just one guy who is a long time customer who grew up just down the street from tonights rally. Ive been eating Market Basket food since I was a baby. Thank you to all who attended for making my day so special . From those who spoke, the associates , ATD ,Noel Gordon for organizing , and the rest of the two million customers. You all inspire me not just to continue the boycott but as an American. Up until recently I have been watching the decline of our country. As an overly encroaching government attempts to stifle freedoms and take away our personal liberties. And with this happening , assuming that most everybody was becoming nothing more than automatons in numbers in the machine. Held Hostage At the hands of the corporations and the subtle steady erosion of our constitutional guarantees. But as one of the speakers at the rally so eloquently pointed out. This is now the shot heard round the world of a second revolution. One that started again in the proper place. the cradle of Libertys roots, New England. Im one of those big tough guys with a big heart and not one prone to tears. However tonight , while watching the live feed I got teary a few times. It was so wonderful to watch everybody come together proving good can still defeat evil. That people still come first over profit. And we here in New England still posses that fiery spirit I thought was dying . From the bottom of my heart thank you all so so very much !!!!!
