I couldnt go to sleep after I received a 1am text so naturally I went to my new studio and realized theres a lot of really heavy things that need to be moved by today and my workers wont be back until Monday. #PlanningFail So after a brief moment of calculating the weight of these dance marley floors, these wood floors, these 7 foot doors, these large random barrels (dont ask), a desk, and a couch, then looking at my very pixie like arms...I said oh well. Lets make it happen. After 3 hours everything was in place and though Im feeling superwoman hype status, every muscle is slowly starting to curse me out in every possible native language. This should be fun tomorrow! lol Pass me the Advil! Well after that, its time for mirrors. I need a truck. Fail#2. I call my Tally bestie at 4am because she sleeps like me...or rather doesnt... and of course shes up. I just wanted to borrow her truck, but of course without hesitating she says shes helping. So Natasha Givens Simon and I do two trips of 8 large mirrors. The mirrors are so large we cant close the truck bed so Im holding them with the death grip while she drives to my studio. We go over a speed bump and all the mirrors fly but I catch them and none were damaged. Now other than them trying to roll away from us (on a hill) before we could get them in the truck, us getting looks like we are stealing things in the middle of the night, almost running out of gas, almost getting locked out of the gym multiple times because the door kept slipping and a brief moment of panic thinking I left the keys all the way back at her house...Id say its been a very productive morning and my friends rock!!
