I couldnt hold my tears when I heard this tragic news just after I finished my last paper. It is heartbreak and grief to missed you uncle by the time we dearly need your guidance. Your death left wide the vacuum not only in the family, but also in government where your services will be greatly missed. You led and fought countless battles for last 21 years of SPLA/M and You survived many bullets in the hand of enemy in order to witness the birth of this country. (2005-2011 independence). Dear friends, relatives, inlaws and colleagues it is very unfortunate to inform you on the social media. It is was yesterday night at 2:00am in Cairo Egypt that, Uncle ( Kuarkuar) Birgadier Gen. Simon Manyuon Akoldit passed away. He was been suffering from kedney failure. May almighty God rest his soul in peace.
