I created & released a song this week called Lost Niggas, a story about senseless violence amongst our own community as a whole. It saddens me that our justice system has recently shown that same act of senseless violence from ironically, and unjustly motive. This week, an unarmed kid was shot by police multiple times for Jay Walking, and a 22 year old man was shot in a Walmart by police while looking at a toy gun in the toy section. My heart and prayers go out to their families and loved ones. Senseless violence solves nothing and amplifies everything. As much as we devalue each other in our community, most police officials view us in the same like. Chicago is averaging 75 gun related murders a week. All black on black violence. An effort has to be made in order to actively create some form of change in our mindsets towards each other, so we can stand stronger and protect ourselves. I dont have the answers. Im just an artist who can express himself. But one can try.... Spread more love. As much as possible. We all need it.
