I cringed when I heard the name of the show Black-ish. But, I reserved my opinion and action until I actually saw the show. Once I saw the show, I not only cringed but I wanted to hide. To me, the show is that bad and does not depict what it is to be truly black. All we want is to be respected like everyone else and participate in the American dream. We want to be free indulge in the pursuit of happiness like any other group. And, we are not only fried chicken, basketball and break dancing. Please, do put us in that limited bag. We are all different and do what all Americans do. We are American and we built America to what it is today. And, we make America more than America makes us. Look at America what do you see. Black influence that becomes American styles. We see our fashion, our songs, our dances, our handshakes, and our mannerisms. As a matter of fact we are greater than just being American. WE ARE THE WORLD.
