I deal with it all the time, but am still STUNNED at the need for Beds in our community! Tomorrow we will be picking up 9-10 beds...and we could use another 10-15 ASAP! Today a friend referred a family with 6 boys (one with severe medical issues) who moved here for dads job. They couldnt afford to move their beds, and are sleeping on the floor. Another working mom with Lupus who lost her job, and is way behind on rent and utilities. We helped her find a new job, and now are trying to get her kids into beds instead of the air mattress. A disabled single mom whose teen son supports the three in their apartment, sleeping on the carpet. If you have a good bed, that is not being used...PLEASE message me asap. We will do our best to come get it into a home where it will be TREASURED and appreciated.
