I decided to give skateboarding a really good go last night. Havent done it since I was a kid. I was amazed at how quickly I picked it up. After a couple of hours I was doing some pretty fast turns, and even a couple of basic jumps. I was so into it at this point that I just got totally immersed, I could finally understand what my skater mates had been blathering on about all this time. We found some really cool runs, steep, quite dangerous, but no trouble for me. It was when the sun came up that I thought it was best to stop, I actually had a few more goes as I couldnt stop, I was such a natural....I finally woke up at about 9.30, havent slept over 8 hours like that in a while, feel great today!
