I decided to type today in my book been so long since Ive typed, it only seemed appropriate considering the shitty weekend Ive had with constant bad news and fyi payday im buying a helmet so that when i do fall and hit my head on ice it wont cause any more damage effing winter lol anyways since Ive revamped the story, this part shows protagonist John dealing with the many losses of people in his life from death to separate ways. -Rain trickled down from the darken clouds, engulfing the light from the moon with its haziness of the warm heat. With each drop hitting Johns body his mind raced to the rooftops from whence he lost his beloved wife and son. Standing with his back against the soaked bark of an oak tree, hoping Rebecca would come back to him. -As the night drew closer to dawn and the rain falling heavier from the stormy sky, John knew this was the end of the line for him and his partner. This losing war had divided them taking away the last person he cared about, yet his words of anguish and sorrow to her aided in this separation. With John tirelessly resting against the tree he began speaking to the one person who even in death would hear his words. Miranda...there is no end to this is there? Im only here to lose more when i strongly believed i had nothing left to lose after you and sam..i watched my comrades fall brutally by the hands of Damien and his army, had men die in my arms believing in my words of hope that we would win, then your sister Rebecca... beads of water ran down Johns face masking the painful tears. I let my hatred take over and my words became heartless and now shes gone..I now have nothing left Miranda. -The wind picked up as the rain settled, fallen leaves swept past his feet as his hand slowly pulled out his handgun in shame. Placing the barrel to the side of his head his knees gave way to the defeat. Pulling down the hammer with his wet thumb, sounds of rapid gunfire erupted from the field not too far from the forest he was in. Lowering his gun he began to listen more intently as he heard his name being screamed out by a female in distress. His only thought was of Rebecca and in a way he had given up on the person who saved his life, who now is alone fighting the things he swore to her that she would never have to by herself.
