I definitely owe my perpetual love for them to my brother Cory Braden Ruddell... and I know he has since outgrown them because they became a little too popular for his liking, but Eli Young Band will forever be one of my absolute favorite groups. Before they were big, my brother used to send me their tracks as he heard them while living in Texas. *They began in Texas at the University of North Texas in Denton*. So, he heard them and shared them with me. I spent most of my college years listening to them, and still listen to their albums (old & new) today. It always reminds me of driving home for visits and doing hours of homework. They have the best messages and the best sound. True country (regardless of what my brother comments). This is one of my favorites...especially live, but more so because of the message :) If you dont know them, look them up. Theyre great.
