I deleted this app months ago but am glad that Paul Carr raised the issue again about teen suicide that I tried to warn them about. I had emailed them in good faith a few times (after founder asked me to on Twitter to probably shut me up) and never got a reply. I thought it would have been a good idea for them to talk to some of Philippe s LETS kids early on in their development before scaling this. Instead they raised $20m within the last 6 months and kept $6m for themselves. Cashing out after 6 months on an app that everyone is worried will do exactly what teens in the reviews of the app are saying is happening to them. Its heartbreaking to read that teens are leaving reviews on this app saying they are being bullied with it. Like we didnt see that coming??? Times like this I wonder WTF is wrong with some of the investors and founders in Silicon Valley. Kids in your backyards have an increasing issue with mental health. There was that short window not too long ago where 4 teens in Palo Alto killed themselves. And everyone goes funding this sh*t like theyre all going to get rich before it becomes a real problem for them. Well, one thing I will never go on record for doing is staying quiet about this issue.
