I despair. Why, Greeley City Council, did you feel the need to amend your anti-public smoking ordinance to include e-cigarettes? WHY?? Public votes to ban public smoking are obviously based on the possible health risk and unavoidable stink of second hand smoke. While I think those votes are misguided--property rights and free markets would allow Smokey Joes to duke it out with Clean Air Clydes and let public choice decide--they are at least based on some real or perceived harm to third parties. Vape cigs, not so much. What the hell is it about getting elected that makes people comfortable voting to limit your choices and my choices on issues anywhere short of your fist hitting my nose, or my fraud robbing your pocket book?
