I despise this ages dead yaad/nine night attitude. The bereaved family already has the emotional and financial strain, yet some members of the community are only there to see how much free rum, drinks and soup dem can drink and free food dem can nyam. Whatever happened to the spirit of giving to such families? Back in the days people came with their hands filled with what to give, today, there are arms outstretched grasping for what they can get! The part that pisses me off the most is that when the food is served and bellies are full, the plates, cups, and forks are dropped at their feet for the bereaved to clean it up. Like that isnt bad enough, we complain about the taste of the food!!! Seriously people???? Get a life! Get a clue, get a conscience!!!
