I detest the concept of conformity more than just about anything else I can conceive. As Ive learned more and more about the behavior of so many politicians in Washington, and awakened to the abysmal vision of humanity that I perceive as reality today, I shiver and quake as I contemplate the ruination of humanity as it seems to have slid down into an endless abyss of ennui and apathy. Lately, after reading so much about the potential destruction of life, not only as we know it, B-U-T the total annihilation of the planet because weve arrogantly ignored our responsibility to live and act with integrity, Ive discovered a renewed interest has been triggered, i.e., the genesis of evil. Ive been convinced for a long, long time that evil is a construct of humanity and cannot be relegated to the clutches of some lame-assed excuse that evil is simply an inherent character flaw. I ponder and think about questions such as, What leads us to travel the dark path;; What causes us to abandon our inherent goodness and ignore our inner light?; WHAT; WHEN; WHERE; HOW does all this darkness originate AND THEN MANIFEST?; How do we choose to manifest that dark side, as opposed to following our shining inner light that can potentially help us find our way home? Thus, begins my renewed quest to learn more about the underbelly of evil that seems to have usurped far too many within humanitys divinity as these dark individuals have abandoned any desire they may have once had to understand, nurture a more fully compassionate, understanding, loving heart, all leading to acceptance of differences and the heightened desire to welcome self-forgiveness that sets the stage to forgive others..
