I did a wipe/re-install on my desktop recently. Vista 64 (dont judge, its OEM). Went to watch Netflix. Netflix prompts a Silverlight install. Defaults to downloading Silverlight for 64 bit OS. SIlverlight 64s installer is not compatible with Vista 64, even though it says it is (and forces you to try to use it). Apparently this is a long-standing issue. Going to MS help forums, the common answer is Youre mistaken, your OS is not 64 bit, met with replies of Dont tell me that my install of Vista Home Premium 64 bit is not a 64 bit OS, you twat!. Anyway, I unpacked it with 7zip and ran the .msi manually. But Im getting tired of your shit, Microsoft.
