But I still prefer Leonards original recording with its raw, sorrowful vocals, its simple, smooth, bluesy guitars and keys, and its consistently soulful background Hallelujahs. And his lyrics, gracious and graceful. Ill bet this song took years off his life, as he spent years writing and composing it. He had to edit his lyrics down from eighty verses.
