I did my first official cosplay this weekend at Fanime in San Jose Ca.After all the preparation & careful packing I managed to for get to pack the both of the custom staffs that I made for Maleficent. The short day version has a green orb on top that Diablo can perch on. The evening version is over 60 tall with a solar powered light that fades to different colors. The event staff & vendors came to the rescue, helping me rig up a new pole for the day. I tried to keep to the original Maleficent style for the gown. The headpiece need to be re-worked a bit to keep them in place.The last two sots are the work in progress as I experimented with a wonderflex product called Fosshape ( it is a s sewable variation that uses lower heat or steam to shape & mold )
