I did my normal nappy demo today at SDH and at the end they actually asked me to talk about slings too as I had carried Ava in hers, I said a bit but was a bit on the spot about it, so for next time, can I have some sling library leaflets and a few key pointers about what to say incase they ask again :-) I mentioned bonding and closeness and the importance of a good sling or carrier for hip health, and I mentioned the safe carrying ticks and then try asked me to show a few carried so I did the front and back carry that I know :-) Ava was very well behaved and had great fun playing with the pretend placenta :-)
