I did not forget HURTA overnight; and have read the comments, I am asking Hawthorne Race Course to investigate ths, This was NOT a commentary on breeding, or running older horses in claiming races; THIS is about a horse that ran at ILLINOIS race tracks for 9 years, was in the hands of many trainers, that was NO longer competetive this year on the bottom ranks, was getting beat bad in 2014, so instead of hiding under rocks- where was everybody that had this horse that watched him struggle all of 2014 and did nothing? where was Hawthorne officials, saying enough is enough ?
