I did not get my thoughts from yesterday posted, so I am shifting - TopicsExpress

I did not get my thoughts from yesterday posted, so I am shifting focus for today. I know how to do that. Greetings. I finally found an excerpt I searched for in my notes. It was a quote from Freud’s final published work Moses I wanted to refer to it whenever I was driven to cite scripture in the process of telling the story of that ‘buried past’. , .......................................................................................................................almost everywhere there can be found striking omissions, disturbing repetitions, palpable contradictions, and signs of things the communication of which was never intended.(Moses and Monotheism, 1938. 26) ...................................................................................................................... I found that interesting because I had explained. that I did not cite scripture in Nile and Sphinx, a Buried Past because I am religious. As a matter of fact, I claim no Orthodox faith. What came to me in writing the work, just came.. The closest I can say that I am to this is that My spirit speaks.. So what I recorded in’ Nile and Sphinx, a Buried Past’ and what I cannot overstate is a knowledge of a greater power than human existence can define for me. This... from which all life extends. On a note the entry in which I referred to writers. I think the spirit in certain writers makes the difference in how their writing is received. An intellectual, factual writing provides information. A spiritual writing awakens a ‘knowing’ within. One of Ngugi’s titles.. Devil on the Cross. amused me. I have not read this one. It is now on my list to read. My amusement with the title stems from the fact that some of us do not believe ‘the devil’ or the concept of evil dominates except in the minds of those who allow such concepts to germinate and to dominate their relationship with the Omnipresence of good, of the Infinite...... Reading a review of ‘Devil the reviewer had only praise and admiration for Prof. Ngugi as an author. ‘This book, a beautiful story evolving. .. I must read it. . The disruptions may appear in this writing. Keeping it brief... Have great day! Until. ....................... Peace... Love.... The Best....
