I did not know Carolyn Solewski Boulton personally, but am extremely saddened to hear of her unexpected passing. From the outpouring of condolences, it is abundantly clear that Carolyn was a dynamic person, and I know she was a TREMENDOUS supporter of Tinton Falls Matters, even providing me at one point play-by-play text message commentary of a Colts Neck school board meeting I could not attend on account of travel. Her dedication and care shone through that evening and with each like or share of an update, and I was amazed by her passion. It take A LOT to put yourself out there for others, and especially in a public forum, and for that I respect her immensely. I had not intended to share business-related matters, but saw that another Facebook friend had linked to a letter to the editor that Carolyn (a military veteran, I might add) had written, supporting the K-8 school district and the kids of Tinton Falls and Shrewsbury Township, and thought Id share that as a show of her commitment to a community that remembers her. Please keep Carolyn and her grieving family and friends in your prayers and thoughts. Our community lost a fine leader.
