I did some singing today after my hunny left for work and between prepping our chicken and dumplings dinner. Since radiation last summer I cough little clumps of blood on a fairly regular basis. Its not much, but always just enough to remind me that cancer has set up residence in my lungs. Ive lost noticeable lung capacity but Im thankful I can still carry a note most of the time. Sometimes the inconsistencies really suck when I attempt songs that once were easy so I recorded for about a half hour. I gave it a listen, not awful, but not great. then I listened to stuff I recorded shortly after my 3rd cancer surgery(when they had to collapse a lung to perform the operation). I miss having the lungs for that and the quality of range that once was. Still not able to make it through Live like You Were Dying without choking up lol, I guess it still hits home like a hurricane. tonight I get to DD for my wife and friends and were going to a karaoke bar. I still havent decided whether or not Ill sing, but looking forward to having some fun either way.
