I didnt get as much torch time as I wanted today, but Ill make up for it during the week. As you can see, Im terribly rusty on seashells, but these are good sellers so Ill have to hone my shell skills. The Stargazer came out well and Ive already figured out how I can tighten up on these. Besides the ones I photographed, I worked on a twisted organic set, a couple of florals and a clear hollow bead. Now, I should have cleaned these beads before I took pictures, but I didnt so youll notice a lot of specks on the turtle beads. Thats bead release that gets all over everything when I take the beads off the mandrel. I always do this outside (while holding my breath) because it can make quite a mess. Let me know what you think of the black background I used for the turtles this time. I think I like the ivory better, but I wanted to give it a try. One of these may just be my next giveaway... :)
