I didnt get where I am today with mediocre expectations of myself. I didnt get here with the thought that someone else should help me, or do the work for me. I didnt get here by accident. I am not saying this has been easy, and I wouldnt change what I have done, but even though I have done so much I have days that I lose my mind, and things become jumbled. I set the bar really high, and I expect so much from myself- I constantly need to be reminded that I was cut in half 10 weeks ago, and that I am NOT super human. I need to post pone my 15+ mile run, and make that up soon enough-- when I am feeling stronger, and not where I am this morning. Thankfully I have a husband ha knows Im better after a run... he pushed me out the door. Those that lift you up when you feel beat. those that keep you focused when the world seems upside down are the real winners. the real folks that you can count on -- those folks are the best gift ever. I got this run in, and tried to quiet the doubts and fears that are sneaking in-- I may have bitten off a little more than most-- but I plan on finishing what I have set out to do. It Is who I am and it is what I do.
