I didnt plan to spend the rest of the day scrubbing our refrigerators (lets be honest: who but the most insidiously deviant personality ever *plans* to clean a refrigerator?!) and putting the house in order, but given the ice storm and power outages thats exactly what Ill be doing. Lest anyone misunderstand, this is not a grumble, nor a complaint. I am grateful that we suffered no serious damage; our neighbors lost multiple large trees, at least one of which damaged a swath of siding. Our daughters pet fish didnt even suffer serious trauma. We have nothing to complain about, and all things considered I feel sort of guilty that we were spared.
