I didnt plan when I woke up this morning to help load firewood into a wheelbarrow so it could be moved into the backyard of my neighbors house. Whenever Cal Trans cuts down trees along roads around the county, these guys go and load up all the cut logs. Then they cut the logs into firewood sized pieces. This time they rented a hydraulic wood splitter for 4 hours to deal with the big rounds. So I now have 3 wagon loads of red oak logs piled in my garage drying out. Boy am I a girl. Havent done physical labor (bending over and throwing firewood into a wheelbarrow) in way too long - got a little lightheaded!!
