I didnt think working with high school kids was going to be rewarding because I basically just got out of high school but I was so wrong. Today, my second day as a mentor, I walk into the 10th grade biology class at Sedro-Wooley and everyone lights up and says Hi, OLIVIA! And one of the kids moved his bag off of his chair so I would sit by him. Totally made my day and me feel in the right place. :)
