I didnt turn on the heat last night and woke up to a freezer locker up in here. I know its not Alaska here in Arkansas but to me just a little bit of cold is blizzard weather. lol I thought about all the winters Ive been through and all the cold..some of them were so hard and the cold made it feel even more lonely. I didnt think Id make it through as I walked barefoot in the snow for over a mile, but my eyes were fixed on a steeple (the cross on top of a Church.) while I carried not just myself but my unborn child through the ice and snow to reach it. I could see from the projects where I lived a glimmer of hope, and I lived without food or furniture and I knew JESUS would get me through it but I had to get to that steeple for help. I know that this world has changed for the worst and there are alot of problems going on around us. I know this because I have witnessed it myself and I know the WORD enough to see it changing directions. My heart is always in prayer for those in places where ISIS and our Christian brothers and sisters are fighting to survive and where our Christian families and Missionaries are teaching and preaching the gospel that would cost them their lives here on Earth if they were caught. They are plowing through some of the worst obstacles they have ever faced because of the love they have for JESUS and because they were humble enough to answer when HE called even tho it might cost them their lives. Yet the calling is great in these times and the desire to serve GOD is magnified because of HIS love. The Bible tells us to be happy for today, to have hope and to endure to the end because HE is with us. What joy we have in HIM because we know HE will bring us to an expected end. Enjoy today and everyday no matter the circumstances, no matter the trials or test we face because we have the greatest gift in this whole world...HIS name is JESUS and HE has every answer, every WORD and every plan for our lives and nothing gets by HIM, absolutely nothing. Trust HIM because HE knows all things and when you cant see it all and the picture you have looks grim.... just know that its all going to work out for the good to those who are called according to HIS purpose and you are HIS purpose...HE died for your sins out of love so lean on HIM while HE works on you cleaning out all that needs to be gone so that HE can work Miracles in your life. Winter is but a Season and then the next Season comes. When you are facing hardships fix your eyes on JESUS and dont take them off of HIM for any reason and no matter how cold, no matter how hard the trail gets just hold on to HIM and just in the nick of time HE will answer and you will find HE has been there all along the trail holding you up and pointing you in the right direction. HE loves you that much!
