I digressed from devastation I progressed to find a nation that’s not free I reject this misunderstanding I want accept anything less than equality of we I diversified my ink To flow in all directions I object to ignorant minds I enlist to educate man kind I refuse to release negativity I comfort the purest of positivity I confront those who said we can’t I stand in their face and say, we still stand I release my words for all to hear But for a nation that has failed to appear I force you to speak on all topics Deliver message loud verses microscopically I can speak for me But I can’t not speak for this nation, who claims, wants and needs to be free I see your ethnicity I see different colors of we I see the world for what it is A world built on the backs of slavery, devastation, destruction, without reconstruction for man Where is the land that was promised to me I seek to find total freedom that wants cost me, my life, your life and the lives of a nation of we.
