I discovered Parkrun when I got to WA and wish I had discovered it earlier as it is going on in quite a few places up the east coast. It is a timed 5 km run at 8 am every Saturday morning. It is not competitive - more of a social run. A great way to meet and chat with like minded people. Some people try to break 20 mins but it attracts all types of runners and even some run/walk so it is for EVERYONE. I have completed Parkruns at Cannington and Rockingham in WA and the Torrens River Parkrun is Adelaide. I wish I could go every week! Listen to the interview and see what you think.......
