I discovered the work of Georges Rousse in the mid 80s. They are extraordinary images; illusions full of mystery and magic. We corresponded and he generously sent me lots of pictures Id never seen. In the mid 90s he gave me permission to use an image for an album called Rude Bloom. Im a Gursky fan and have recently discovered Adam Magyar. Perhaps there is no connection. Then again! Its amazing what artists working with photography have produced in recent years.
