I dislike politicians from the State Government on up to the Federal Circus in DC (love our locals though). There MUST be middle ground on all issues, a symbiotic relationship of give and take; for the good of ALL citizens. My high school biology teacher, Mr. Jerry Peery, taught me that if a parasite keeps taking from the host, without contributing something beneficial to the host, then the host organism will die and when the host dies, the parasite will die. 47% of Americans, those who work and contribute to society, cannot continue to keep the other 53% up. Its going to be a slow drain, blood letting, but the end results will be the same : death. If you are in your 40s and 50s, your children and grandchildren will be shouldering the heaviest amount of our national debt; but if we continue down this spend easy, buy now and pay later path to destruction that we are now on, our nation will dissolve into little states and factions, just as the Soviet Union did in the 90s. When Communism fell: West Germany was a financially strong country; however when the wall fell and the poverty stricken East Germany merged with them: taking all of the rights that they were entitled to, Deutsche Mark for Deutsche Mark both nations about fell . Thus the European Union and euro saved the day. All I am saying is remember Greece, look at Spain and even our biggest cities now, like Detroit. No bailout will be able to save us.
