I dnt wear fitted hats. I dnt like miley cyrus, lil wayne, or rick ross. I prefer to wear clothes tht fit me. Im not into boomin systems and rims. Im not much for malt liquor. And for some strange reason, i find it very important to pronounce my words. Ive learned how important it is to listen, to really take the time to consider and analyze where a person is being genuine with their feelings and concerns. Ive learned to be less aggressive and more assertive when making my point and communicating with others. I not only like, but appreciate the soft voice of a woman and the wisdom frm my elders. I love the color of my skin and the kink of my hair. I love good books and john coltrane. Ive learned tht we never truely stop ever learning, and if we live under the assumption tht we "know" everything, then we have surely lost the good fight. I love listening to reggae music at sunset (and any other time for tht matter:) ive learned in order to have good things happen in your life, u must first become that good energy that you covet. Ive learned that being a man is not all about being tough on the outside, but the ability to not only extend love to others, but to also have the ability to love ones self enough to be humbled by humility. I love to laugh ( especially at myself:) i sing really loudly in public for no reason at all, especially when im with my kids, sheerly to embarrass the sh*t out of them:) i play the fart game with my sons (dnt sleep with your mouth open:) and treat my daughter as the princess that she is, so that one day she finds a man that treats her just as well as i treat her (and tht mf has some big shoes to fill, and if he gets out of line, i keep the duct tape, rusty spoon, and broom handle close at hand). Ive learned that in life, theres no guarantees or promises. The only thing that i do "know", is that, if you try, u will make it. And making it isnt always succeeding for wht u tried for. Making it, is trying with every blood, sweat, and tear that u have, putting any and evrything into your fight, and knowing that if god asked you, if there was anything more that u couldve done, and you can with a pure heart say you gave it your ALL, well in my eyes, youve made it. Win or lose, youve made it!:) just some jumbled thoughts i had today, now im gonna kick bck, listen to some Dead and Tosh, watch the sunset, and keep it movin:)
