I do NOT AGREE with a majority of the things Bill Cosby has been saying in the past few years...but throughout his life, Bill has put his money where his mouth is. He still holds the top spot for being an African American that has given the most money to an HBCU as a a single donor. His shows, both The Cosby Show AND a Different World inspired a whole generation of young people to achieve higher education. And most people dont know this, but when Spike Lee ran out of money while he was filming Malcolm , he called Bill Cosby and he gave him the money to help Spike finish filming Malcolm X, which again inspired cultural awareness in a whole new generation of African American youth....so, if I am going to listen to ANYONE who I totally disagree with, it would be him.
