I do believe Israel has the right to self defense. Just that I disagree with Israels definition of it. In my dictionary, occupying a land, building 300 illegal settlements on it, laying a siege on the remainder, killing 1300 civilians including hundreds of sleeping children, leveling neighborhoods including schools, refugee camps and hospitals is not self-defense. It is outright terrorism. I am thinking of mailing a standard English dictionary to the Israeli Embassy in Washington. Who knows this was all a huge misunderstanding.
