I do not have an issue with Des Moines, or any other city. I do believe, however, that stands do need to be filled, in major championships. What is it about the Drake Relays that get the stand filled? Why is there not a package between both US champs and Drake Relays to fill the stadium? Unless the money and effort is put in to bring in the fans, then they will not come. I am not trying to be negative, but a realist. If we want the sport to grow, and more and different sponsors to consider our sport, then potential sponsors need to see full stands behind great performances. #usaoutdoors, #desmoines
