I do not hear legends of Mammoth Hunters pass the 12000 year - TopicsExpress

I do not hear legends of Mammoth Hunters pass the 12000 year history very often where groups were nomadic and at once summer settled within a river or lake access when Mammoth were abundant. I must then purpose that these Humans were in no way similar to us, far from it. They walked more than anyone, carrying several spears each along with Clovis style points in small wooden boxes or woven grass bags, and caching more points and blades on prime hunting sites on prominent ridges and hills of good elevated view points of their proven system. Stone caches also with dried meat, berries and fish mixed with lard wrapped in waterproof parflatches up and down the best areas with easily seen rock cairns. Possible bags to contain items while on the trail such as fire starters, blades and retouching tools with field dressings for wounds.. Imagine paths, no resemblance of roads lain down by herds of Bison, Elk, Moose and Mammoth making tracking and traversing the region easier but also easy threats from predators in ambush concealing themselves along any point. It was these small groups that covered each others back, shared everything always a family, even if they were from other tribes. These men and women were the toughest of us, that today, none can compare nor able to remember.....
