I do not know what to say…The Miss Jessies Family has had a huge loss. I have known Titi and Miko for over a decade. Titi’s birthday was the day after mine. I originally met them when I went to their salon for a hair consultation…Titi looked at me with that inquisitive, excited gaze and said: “We’ve been looking for hair like yours…would you like to try a product we’re launching?” It was #CurlyPudding. I was their very first model and first AD for their hair line…their book, #TheMISSJESSIESStory, comes out in April, telling the story of that chapter in all of our lives. I will be forever grateful for their IMPACT and IMPRINT on my life...I’ve always looked up to Titi & Miko as the big sisters I never had…they were synonymous to me...if I saw Miko, Id ask for Titi, if I saw Titi, Id asked for Miko...they’ve supported every single venture in my entrepreneur life…from my magazine, to wanting to invest in my movies, to my docu-series….I watched them grow a multi-million dollar company and their souls never changed...This is a bitter sweet moment for me and my heart aches for Miko…I ask that all of you send Miko and their family LOTS OF LOVE and most of all PRAYERS as they move through this moment in their life. Lets remember that although Miss Jessie’s is in the public eye, that this is still a family who has lost an intricate piece of their life and business, suddenly. Lets give them space and time to heal and to grieve. Lets LIFT UP the Miss Jessie’s family because this is a huge loss for everyone. My Beautiful Titi, may your soul rest in eternal peace.
