I do not pray.at all- I dont believe in prayers or some God or any of that crap-..but I can imagine the grief that is going through the minds of family members who can never be the same again..never whole again..always a vacuum will follow your life..Yes, I will not pray but I am human . I grief, it pains me- I wish there is something more substantial to say to people who experience loss than this promise of a vague afterlife, of a deity living in the imagination or la la land who will look after them when it helpfully did not lift a finger in the present life-.all of these public outpourings of grief will end in a short while and normal life will resume, people will go on living happy lives, drinking, singing songs, making money, --, but for those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy - their anguish and their recurrent imagining of the final moments of their loved ones as the plane crashed lasts forever until they themselves die- and no prayer/vague promises of comfort in an imaginary afterlife can ever alleviate that pain. So very sorry for them-nothing can comfort people like us- for I know that too..and my children know that too..Be strong for others depend on you or - you will not make it..
