I do not see how there could be any misunderstanding that there are indeed 3 separate individual persons in the godhead which can literally sit down and have a good barbecue if they wanted. John 6:38 (KJV) 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. What I see in these words is this. 1. Jesus WAS IN HEAVEN at some time. 2. He left heaven to come down to earth. 3. Jesus has a will that is not the will of the FATHER. 4; Jesus decided to do not his own will but GOD the FATHERS will. Here is another text I will give you the simple meaning of. John 16:13 (KJV) 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Jesus is speaking of someone whom he called another comforter, and proceeding FROM GOD THE FATHER. 1. He calls the HOLY GHOST A HE. 2. Jesus said the HOLY GHOST WILL GUIDE US INTO ALL TRUTH. 3.HE WILL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF. 4. HE HEARS FROM SOMEONE WHAT TO SAY. Here is the difference in the person of the HOLY GHOST. He is not GOD THE FATHER nor JESUS for the following reasons: GOD THE FATHER doesnt need to hear from anyone.
