I do not vote so my Prime Minister can take his own principled - TopicsExpress

I do not vote so my Prime Minister can take his own principled stand against oppression. I vote so that he will implement my will and not hurt our standing in the world and then have the temerity to say, . . And I know, by the way, because I have the bruises to show for it . . . in regards to forcing his own personal opinion of who we as Canadians should openly support. I support Israel but if you ask if I support their every action what would I say? No, not at all, they are a state of many in the world and their actions an ocean away do not affect me. This is the land of North America and we have a buffer that protects us but that doesnt mean we have to be involved in everybodys business like other countries in the world. I privately stand for Israel but a majority of Canadians feel we have larger issues than forcing ourselves into the Middle East so that we can change from humanitarians into power players who act upon aggression for other countries.
