I do so very much love Mondays, Im coming off my rest day, feeling a little flat after a couple days without lifting, and then BAM! You re-engage that switch in your mind and its back to Beast Mode™. And this is it, today...now....this moment, always striving to be the absolute strongest Ive ever been in my life, with the goal to be even stronger tomorrow. Life is good! Today, I did chest and only chest. Alt weeks and all that :) Incline Flys/Incline Press 15 Fly--> 15 Press [rest 50] 12 Flys--> 12 Press [rest 50] 8 Flys--> 8 Press Drop 8 [rest 1:20] Chest Press w/Rotation 5×5 (5 sec rest between) [rest 1:20] Incline Press Progressive Set 15--> 12--> 8 [rest 60] 8--> 12--> 15 [rest 45] Close Grip Press To Fly 15 [rest 30] 12 [rest 1:30] 8 [rest 40] Decline pushups/russian twist 15 PU--> 20 Twists--> 12 PU--> 20 Twists--> 8 PU--> 20 Twists Dont let the brevity fool you, your goal in this workout is to lift heavy...as heavy as you can yet still be able to complete the reps. You should not be in a comfort zone at all in this set...youre looking to complete that one rep you thought you couldnt do. In fact, Ill leave you with a video that helped inspire me in the early days when I was just beginning to absorb as much information as I could about fitness...this stuck with me.
