NOTE: TT is a heavy feeder. 5) Dont over crowd the farm. apply at least 3X1.5 metres spacing and preferably 4.5X1.5 metres in high potential areas. this will allow easy management. an acre takes a maximum of 1000 fruit trees. 6) one fruit tree can produce 50KGS per year. The price has never gone below 50/= per kg. you are sure of fetching at least 2.5M per year for 5 years. 7) Production cost for first 2 years is estimated at 200,000/=. So the first year of harvest can earn you a profit of .......... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR. TT can do well in all ecological areas as long as water is available and no water logging or flooding.
