I do truly back the police 100% but I actually like this idea… I would love to police myself… Just cut me some judicious leeway and I am off… I am tired of being stopped in the sub way for carrying a 2 blade that I need for work… I am tired of using a pair of pliers to cut open a box because I decided to leave my blade at home… I am tired of getting pounded with parking tickets in Long Island City with their parking meter shut off games… I am tired of driving home after a hard days work in the sweltering heat of the summer and all I want as a cold soda for the ride home and get a ticket for parking for literally 2 minutes at the local bodegas in Long Island City… I am tired of disrespectful cops that think that because they have a badge they have the right to be a dick… I have no problem with the police… I support the need for security… But if you are going to be used as a tool to generate a cash stream for the corruption and the vanishing money in the cities financial ledger than I would opt to take care of myself to a certain degree... Not saying at all that we dont need real policing… Keep it like the way you got it… Focus on the real crime and leave regular citizens alone… Dont be a pawn for The Mayor or any shady politicians that would attempt to use you to enforce their agendas… And for that I think you will gain much more respect… I know you will from me...
