I do what I do because I enjoy doing it, but it is always nice when someone tells you you are appreciated. This is one of many comments I have recieved over the years, & these comments make up for all the jealous sniping & back stabbing. Keith. I spend as many nights in the woods on a bed roll as I do in my bed at home. Our diet consists mostly of fresh wild edibles and organic meat/protein. Many folks like to think that they are prepared for some form of catastrophe based on a few books that they have read, or one of many TV shows that they have watched. As you well know, nothing could be further from the truth. Daily practice and actual field time is absolutely necessary to DEVELOP the needed skills. I emphasize the term develop because, like any complex skill, it must be built line upon line and precept upon precept. You know this as well as any. I wish very much that I could meet you. I view you as a true master of the Bush crafts. We have many in the US as well, however, the traditional craft is falling to the ages. Your practical approach and confident demeanor lend a fair amount of comfort in situations that might otherwise be more challenging, if not traumatic. If I had my way, you would be able to reach many more people with your teaching. Thank you for your time, your efforts, and your passion for living with true purpose. Scott Charbonneau Idaho, USA
