I don’t normally comment on news stories but this whole Charlie - TopicsExpress

I don’t normally comment on news stories but this whole Charlie Hebdo situation has really got to me. It’s a prime example of a society that is completely integrated culturally but still can’t find peace in respecting one another and our differences. People are inherently different, nobody has the same ideals and let’s for once leave religion out of it. Nobody should be blaming Islam, Jihadist’s are a different race of humanity representing nothing but selfish, brutal acts of insanity. West is west and east is east but when will we learn to live together in peace? After nearly a decade or more of trying to stop extremism the governments still admittedly have no idea what they’re doing. I just don’t see an end to this kind of terrorism and it makes me feel awful. I really hope one day we can put a stop to this vicious cycle of war and violence. Respect to France for standing up in solidarity and reprinting the issue even in the face of immediate threat. Society, youre a crazy breed. Je suis Charlie and je suis Ahmed, the muslim police officer that died standing up for our right to freedom of speech, even when used to ridicule his own faith.
